(I first saw a feathered African headdress in singer Vanessa Carlton's Manhattan loft featured in In Style, September 2005 (I can't believe I've kept a tear sheet that long!) and have been coveting one ever since. It is neat to know that such an unusual item, for one's home, has an enduring quality, as noted above.
