A bald eagle reaches its sexual maturity when it becomes five year old. The call is considered to be harsh and shrill. When left to survive in the wild, a Bald eagle can live up to 20 years. It glides at a speed of 35-43 miles per hour (56-70 km per hour) and dives at 75-99 miles per hour (120-160 km per hour). Bald eagles prefer living near water and migrate to the coast in order to obtain food during winters.
