{as you may know, I am enamored with art that is fashion-related, as witnessed by here, and here... so when I came across these fascinating paintings by Richard Nott paying tribute to the artistry of fashion and textile design of various 19th century Japanese kimonos and Chinese robes/coats and a 20th century Indian dress (first image), inspired from the archives of England's Victoria & Albert Museum, I just had to share them with you... enjoy}
