Favourite Inspirational Rooms

(I love absolutely everything about these rooms. I especially adore the wallpaper in the bedroom, the couches back-to-back in the living room (zebra rug) and the colours overall, especially in the dining room. These rooms were designed for me! Unfortunately, the source cannot be confirmed, but I believe they came from Elle Decor, sometime in November 2007.)

Splurge

(A few months ago I dished out a fortune on a linen duvet cover. Absolutely no regrets. So when I saw this image from Marie Claire Maison I knew I had to post it. If you are thinking of splurging, consider linen! Fabric from Elitis)

Canadian Photographer, Chris Nicholls

(Chris Nicholls is a Canadian-based photographer, who travels from Toronto to New York for a variety of clients. Notice how the background fuses seamlessly with the model's apparel and make-up. I particularly love the whimsical accessories in the bridal layout. I think they inject a necessary level of personality which offsets perfectly with these ultra-feminine and exquisite bridal gowns. Not to mention that the models are absolutely gorgeous. P.S. This is Glamorous posted some of the bridal shots before I had a chance to do so (I worked extremely late last night, so this was the earliest opportunity to post. Do visit her site if you are interested in viewing another photo layout of Chris' art and of course other incredibly interesting posts).

Canadian Artist, Mark Dixon

(So this is the first time I post about a Canadian Artist. I can't say enough about Mark Dixon. His work is truly enticing and hypothesizing. I am no art critic, but I just love them. Do go to his site and view all his amazing works!)
