Travel: {Miami}

{our lovely 10-day retreat two weeks ago was spent in Miami, Florida at the luxurious Fairmont Turnberry Isle Resort.  Poolside lounging or sunbathing at a private beach front right on the Atlantic ocean were the two major decisions each day.  Two trips to downtown Miami, strolling Ocean Drive and Lincoln Road Mall, cheating on my vegan diet with a white cheese pizza (Gorgonzola sealed the deal), several dirty martinis at the hotel lounge, a rainy afternoon spent indoor with chilled Champagne and a late-night dinner on a beautifully landscaped terrace, complete with water fall will be memories I will forever cherish, especially so as it was shared with my wonderful husband.... thank you, honey}

Extended Sign-off + Off to Miami

{Hello! Although my 10-day trip to Miami does not start until Wednesday, the next few days is all about last-minute shopping, luggage packing {which I always enjoy}, planning an itinerary and spending some quality time with family before departure...
