Cody Horn circling Channing Tatum's stripper drama

Channing Tatum may soon be bumping and grinding for a genuine Hollywood princess.

Cody Horn, the daughter of former Warner Bros. president and COO Alan Horn, is circling Tatum's male stripper drama, "Magic Mike," TheWrap has confirmed.

ThePlaylist first reported her casting.

Horn would play Tatum's love interest in the film.

Steven Soderbergh is set to direct the semi-autobiographical story of Tatum's early years spent exotic dancing for his dinner.

Alex Pettyfer ("I Am Number Four") and Matthew McConaughey are set to co-star.

Horn is represented by Paradigm and Untitled Entertainment. She has previously appeared in the films "Twelve" and "Flipped," and snagged a recurring role in the FX series "Rescue Me."

Reynolds and Theron break up

Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Charlize Theron have ended their brief summer romance, UsMagazine.com reported Friday.

Reynolds, the 34-year-old star of "The Proposal" and "X-Men Origins: Wolverine," is recently divorced from actress Scarlett Johansson.

Theron, 36, broke up with her longtime beau, actor Stuart Townsend, in January 2010.

UsMagazine.com said Reynolds and Theron ended their relationship in late July after a few months of dating.

"He only wanted something casual but she's in a rush to settle down, have kids and start a family since she's getting older," a source told the celebrity news Web site.

"[Theron] didn't take it very well when he broke it off. She knows deep down that it wouldn't have worked, but she is pretty bummed out about it all."

"They're both too busy," a friend of Theron told UsMagazine.com. "And they were hardly ever together anyway."

High lead levels in some Chicago homes

Tests of drinking water in Chicago homes by federal inspectors this spring found high levels of lead in a number of them, officials said.

Health advocates and scientists say lead could be an underestimated health risk in the nation's drinking water, especially in older cities and suburbs where lead pipe and solder are common in water supply systems, the Chicago Tribune reported Friday.

The Environmental Protection Agency reported high lead levels in seven of 38 Chicago homes tested.

"That's not really good news," said Marc Edwards, an environmental engineering professor at Virginia Tech who researches lead in water.

The allowable amount of lead -- 15 parts per billion -- was set in the 1990s.

Experts argue there is no safe level of exposure to lead.

"What you really want is zero," said Jeffrey Griffiths, a professor of public health and medicine at Tufts University School of Medicine who is chairman of a drinking water advisory board for the EPA.

"Four (parts per billion) is better than 15, but four is still four."

Teens get prison for gang killing

Three teenagers were given life sentences Thursday for leading a gang attack on a schoolboy who was stabbed and killed in South London.

A judge at the Old Bailey said Dale Green must serve at least 15 years for killing Nicholas Pearton, while Lamarr Gordon was ordered to serve 14 years and Joseph Appiah, 16, was given a 12-year minimum sentence, The Independent reported. Four other teens were given sentences of up to 10 years for manslaughter.

Nicholas, 16, was attacked as he walked home from school in May 2010. He bled to death on the floor of a takeout restaurant.

The attack allegedly stemmed from a feud between rival gangs that led to a fight in school.

Prosecutors said the teens were in the Shanks and Guns Gang, The Sun reported. The attackers chanted "SG boys" and a security camera captured Gordon and Green shaking hands on a bus after the stabbing.

The group behaved "like a pack of wild animals," a prosecutor said.

Gordon got into a fight with prison officers escorting him from the courtroom and ended up being carried out.

Elementary school accidentally shows porn

A hardcore pornographic movie was accidentally screened at PS 17 in Brooklyn, N.Y., school officials said.

Students from five classes at the school had assembled to watch "Camp Rock," a Disney Channel movie starring the Jonas Brothers, but after a teacher powered up the DVD player and walked away to get the Disney movie, a skin flick began to play, the New York Post reported Sunday.

The students, some as young as 5-years-old, were exposed to 45-seconds of sex acts in the incident late last month, the newspaper said.

"My son told his friend he saw a naked lady at school," said Rona Easton, whose 6-year-old son, Cass, viewed the snippet with his kindergarten class. "I thought he was just being silly. It's appalling."

Principal Robert Marchi sent home a letter to parents the day of the incident.

"A very explicit pornographic video came on the screen," Marchi wrote. "This was extremely upsetting to the students and staff members in attendance. ... I am deeply sorry that this episode took place at PS 17. I know that we will make every effort to find out who was responsible for this despicable act."

Olympian: Bikinis better for volleyball

A three-time Olympian from California says the two-piece bikinis sported by many beach volleyball players are more than fashion, they're function.

Holly McPeak, 39, who brought home the bronze from the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece, said players are given the option of wearing a more modest one-piece uniform but that choice comes with some uncomfortable side-effects, ABC News reported Monday.

"When you dive, the sand goes down the top and collects in the bottom," she said.

Fabrizio Rossini, press officer for the Federation Internationale de Volleyball, which officially governs Olympic volleyball, said most female beach volleyball players prefer the bikinis.

"It's a very tough sport," Rossini said via e-mail. "Only the best athletes in the world can perform at this level, playing more than one hour, running and jumping on a complicated surface like the sand, under strong wind, heavy rain or the hottest conditions. If they didn't like their uniforms, the FIVB would have received tons of complaints for them, which is not the case."

Fire destroys campaign HQ in Wis.

Fire officials in La Crosse, Wis., said they were investigating a fire that destroyed six apartments, a warehouse and a political advocacy group headquarters.

The fire Saturday destroyed the La Crosse offices of We Are Wisconsin 10 days before a Wisconsin state Senate recall election, the La Crosse Tribune reported Monday.

Kelly Steele, a spokeswoman for We Are Wisconsin, said the liberal advocacy group's offices were destroyed. She told the newspaper it was too soon to know whether the fire will have an effect on the Aug. 9 recall election in which Democratic state Rep. Jennifer Shilling is challenging Republican state Sen. Dan Kapanke.

Shilling's campaign staff had to evacuate its headquarters, which is adjacent to the building that burned. The campaign said it expects workers will be able to return to the office "very soon," the Tribune reported.

Capt. John Helfrich, a La Crosse Fire Department inspector, said it will be days before investigators can determine a cause, the newspaper said.

Residents of the apartments escaped unharmed, said Dave Vaslow, who manages the building
