Help save the melting polar ice caps

(What a cool way to help save the environment. The Helvetica inspired Melt candle is made from 100% Brazilian beeswax. A portion of it's proceeds are donated to organizations seeking a solution to the melting polar ice caps. Designer: kaza razat, imani powell)

Be Cointreauversial!

(I really should wait until the weekend to post this, but there's nothing like capturing the moment. Cointreau is celebrating 160 years and have come up with an inspirational drink representative of its ideal women, Dita von Teese.

COINTREAU TEESE

1 ½ ounces Cointreau

¾ ounce apple juice

½ ounce Monin Violet syrup

½ ounce fresh lemon juice

Slice of ginger.

Rub the edge of a chilled martini glass with the ginger slice, then discard the ginger. Combine the rest of the ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake well, and strain into the glass.

Yield: 1 serving. Enjoy!)

Missoni and Kate

(This blog is not meant to be an advisory of shopping sales, but when you mix hot Missoni and Kate, I couldn't resist. Bonus for readers from New York! Source: GlamChic)

H&M's High Summer Ad Campaign

(Some time ago, I posted about Daria Werbowy becoming the new face of H&M's high summer ad campaign. This season H&M draws inspiration from faraway places with a series of exotic prints. Trends for summer include lightweight tailoring, bohemian styles, ornate embellishment and bold accessories. These shots make me want to drive out to Toronto and buy every piece of the collection.
