{imagine visiting this gorgeous castle, now imagine being invited as a guest by the head gardener and finishing your day with a lovely picnic on the grounds, basking in the sunlight... have a lovely Tuesday in your part of the world!}
{Hello, dear lovelies. I have missed you. Have you been bitten by the Royal Wedding bug yet? I have, but I haven't had time to do any blogging about it!! I barely got this post together as I recently had a MAC computer crash, lost all my bookmarks, pictures and had well just lost all my resources/tools to blog properly. I promise to get back into the swing of things soon. In the meantime, keep well and enjoy watching the wedding on Friday!}
{Hello dear readers! Have been MIA lately, but I have a good excuse... I started a full-time language training course in french on Monday, yes french and as a result I am a bit exhausted! I live in Québec, but unfortunately the french I acquired over the years "que j'ai acquis sans études formelle" which I acquired without formal training is in need of desperate repair. On this, my second day of french language training, I stumbled upon this food blog which coincidentally featured this lovely parisienne tea salon where one can indulge in a wonderfully delicious "chocolat chaud". Wouldn't such a chocolat chaud while studying french in Paris be ideal?}
{have always been drawn to the color orange, the hue of that portion of the visible spectrum lying between red and yellow, of medium lightness and moderate saturation. Orange stimulates and energizes us, and is warming. It is an excellent color for creativity and in the home can be helpful in providing us with a balanced environment...♥}
{...my love of Paris is only enhanced by these stunning images...}
* this is a blog to watch, as these photographs attest... more to come, I would imagine, as the blogger has recently moved to Paris {p.s. discovered via my good friend, Dress, Design & Decor}!
{Good morning! Hope your weekend was spectacular? I have been reflecting a lot on the new year and my resolutions are quite simple... although I have been a vegan since last March and have been eating extremely well, I've decided to reintroduce cheese {those without rennet} and fish into my diet... I am also committed to practicing daily gratitude, yoga and meditation. To date, I have been doing a 25-minute yoga segment upon waking and am also taking evening walks... I'd love to hear about your resolutions... in the meantime, have a lovely day... until later, xo}
{Well another start of a new week is upon us... gathered with family members yesterday to celebrate a young man's 75th birthday and the inevitable talk of Christmas came up, so it is befitting that this morning's post would include an image of Les Champs-Élysées lit in golden Christmas lights... p.s. adore the golden velvet pillows in the first snap; reminds me to go vintage fabric shopping soon... have a lovely, lovely week, xo}
